Dutch Peugeot Boxer · Engine Swap & Rear Lift

Our Dutch friends rolled their silver Peugeot Boxer HMC camper into Garage Iriki with a serious job on the list: the engine had to come out and be swapped, and the rear end needed lifting and strengthening to carry the full overland load.

We pulled the front end apart, dropped the engine and gearbox, and swapped in a healthy replacement power unit. Everything was refitted step by step - mounts, wiring, cooling and driveline - with the crane doing the heavy lifting and the team going through every torque and connection.

At the same time we reinforced the rear suspension so the loaded camper no longer sits low under weight. A big job, done piece by piece in the workshop - and a happy team photo out front once the Boxer was back on its wheels.
