We changed the gearbox of a friend's Land Rover in a single day at Garage Iriki.

The story
Our Danish friends rolled their green Defender 90 into Garage Iriki with a tired gearbox. We put the truck on jacks, dropped the driveshaft, pulled the transmission out from underneath and set it on the workshop floor.
With the box out, we could check the clutch and bellhousing properly - everything cleaned, inspected, and any worn parts sorted before the new gearbox went back in.
The whole swap was done in a day. Refit, torque checks, road test - and the Defender left the workshop ready for the next leg of the trip.
