Belgian Defender · Rear Lift & Reinforcement

Our friends from Belgium 🇧🇪❤️🇲🇦 rolled their loaded Land Rover Defender 110 into Garage Iriki with a clear brief: raise the rear and strengthen it. With a Columbus roof box, full rack, high-lift, spare wheel and long-haul luggage, the back end was sitting too low for the tracks they had planned.

We stripped down the rear, swapped in reinforced coil springs and refitted the axle with everything torqued to spec. Along the way we went through the mounts, bushings and hardware that take the real punishment on Moroccan pistes.

The Defender left the workshop sitting level again, with a rear end built to carry the load. Ready for the next chapter of their Morocco trip.
